Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration - Royal Saskatchewan Museum

The Kawacatoose Boys’ Singers and Dance Troupe will kick off the celebrations with an honor song.
Pick up a scavenger hunt and take a self-guided tour through the First Nations Gallery.
There will be additional drop-in activity stations in and around the Museum including:
– A beading and adornment station, make a friendship bracelet
– Bison hunting activity including atlatl throwing
– Touch table exploring bison artifacts
– The Saskatchewan Archaeological Society will be on-site with the ArchaeoCaravan and a flint knapping demonstration showing how stone tools are made
– Tourism Saskatchewan will be here with a guide to Indigenous landmarks and Indigenous led tourism activities
– SaskParks will help us connect with our beliefs and values as Treaty People
