So bundle up, bring along some non-perishable food items personal care items, or new toys to "Fill the Ambulance" benefitting the Salvation Army Food Bank and come early to find parking and get in line for Santa and Mrs. Clause, and enjoy the countdown for the big moment right at 7:00 PM on Thursday, November 20th, when the Christmas lights come on!
Santa & Mrs. Clause will arrive in bright-red style thanks to his friends at the Swift Current Fire Department! And, thanks to our dedicated community sponsors, there will once again be horse-and-sleigh rides, a firepit to keep you toasty warm, hot chocolate, delicious popcorn, sweet treats, and some of your children's favourite characters like Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, The Grinch, Elsa & Anna from Frozen, and local favourites like Charlie Horse, Sparky the Firehouse Dog and Fat Cat! There will be plenty of festive performances, including Central School Choir, Free Indeed in Christ Church Choir, Western Cheer, and even caroling by the Swift Current Broncos! This event is a tradition you don't want to miss! See you there, down at Market Square!
