The show follows Lydia Deetz, a sad teenager who misses her mother and loves spooky things. She moves to a new house with her father. The house is haunted by a ghost couple and a wild demon named Beetlejuice. Lydia calls on Beetlejuice to scare away the living, which starts a huge and funny adventure.
