Wanuskewin is proud to present Run to the Hills!, an exhibition showcasing the powerful work of Anishinaabe artist Christian Chapman. Known for his work in the Woodland stye, chapman fuses Anishinaabe storytelling with pop culture references and contemporary Indigenous life. His art re-envisions ancestral stories with humour, critique and bold visual language. The exhibition title recalls Chapman’s print inspired by Iron Maiden’s Run to the Hills! and his earlier Fight for Your Life, evoking both the weight of colonial history and the ongoing struggle for Justice.
