Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan

Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan Festival Inc. (SOTS) is an outdoor theatre festival located on the banks of the South Saskatchewan River, producing Shakespeare’s plays and inspired works since 1985. Supported by the leadership team, production crew, administrative and seasonal staff, and more than 125 volunteers, the festival presents over 40 performances and special events across six weeks each summer, welcoming 10,000+ patrons to the riverbank site. SOTS engages the community through innovative productions inspired by Shakespeare’s legacy, guided by values of collaboration, innovation, professionalism, equity, and reconciliation
